Medical

Illness & Accidents

We have a number of trained first aiders who will administer first aid for minor accidents and illnesses occurring in school. You will be notified if your child has had a minor accident during the school day and will be called immediately if anything more serious happens.

Allergies and medical conditions

If your child has a medical condition, e.g. Asthma, that requires medication, please inform the office and make sure that you provide their inhaler/medication with a doctor's note to say how much and when the medication should be taken. You will need to collect the inhaler/medication at the end of each school year and replace it with a new one each September for the following school year.

If your child has or develops severe allergies that require an epi-pen or medication you must inform the office and provide the relevant medication and dosage.

You will need to speak to the school catering team (ISS) to ensure your child has a menu created for them that is safe for them to eat at lunchtimes or you can choose to provide a packed lunch if you would prefer.

If there are any changes to your child's condition or dosage of the medication please let the office know as soon as possible!
