Year 6 information and SATs preparation
PGL
Year 6 children have the chance to go on a residential holiday in June each year.
We go to a PGL centre in Liddington and they stay for 2 nights and 3 fun packed days of activities.
Please have a look at the parent/carer meeting information for more details:
What are the SATs?
SATs are the Standardised Assessment Tests that are given to children at the end of Key Stage 2.
The SATs take place over four days. This year it will be Monday 10th to Thursday 13th May 2027
Please do not make any appointments or have any planned absences during SATs week.
Every child needs to attend every day of SATs week as absent children will automatically get zero.
The SATs assessments are:

Tests are taken away and marked externally – the teachers do not mark the tests. The results are sent to the school in July and this will be shared with parents.
How you can help
The children are being very well prepared for the SATs in school and Mrs Howard will be running additional booster classes after school to help.
